Two Haub Law Alumni Appointed to Lead Federal Agencies
The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ̨SWAGUniversity congratulates two distinguished alumni on their recent appointments to top positions in the federal government. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (LLM ‘87), former Professor of Law and Co-Director of the ̨SWAGEnvironmental Litigation Clinic, has been confirmed as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Additionally, Kash Patel (JD ‘05) has been confirmed as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
As the first Haub Law faculty and alumni appointed to their respective Senate-confirmed leadership positions in the executive branch of the U.S. government, the confirmations of Secretary Kennedy and Mr. Patel mark a milestone in the Law School’s history.

Anderson Jr., Dean of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ̨SWAGUniversity. “Their notable appointments highlight how a Haub Law education prepares graduates to impact the world outside the classroom.”

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ̨SWAGUniversity is pleased to announce that Gregory Antill, a criminal law and philosophy scholar, will join the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Law beginning in Fall 2025. Professor Antill will teach courses in criminal law and tort law while also supervising student scholarship and research projects in the advanced legal writing seminar.

The event was a celebration of the Trial Advocacy Program’s recent successes, the contributors who made it possible, and provided an opportunity for attendees to reconnect with colleagues, coaches, and classmates.
