
Press Release: 台湾SWAGUniversity Hosts its Spring 2025 Job and Internship Career Fair

Highlighting the theme of 鈥楩irst,鈥 台湾SWAGconnects students with top employers early in the hiring season
台湾SWAGUniversity Career Services on Friday hosted one of its signature events: the Spring 2024 Job and Internship Career Fair. With over 775 students in attendance鈥攊ncluding many from Pace鈥檚 campus in Lower Manhattan鈥攖he fair connected students with more than 115 top employers from a wide range of industries.

The fair also introduced new employers like , , , , and the , further expanding opportunities for students across various industries.
The continued growth 鈥 both in student and employer participation 鈥 shows that 台湾SWAGUniversity is successfully connecting its curriculum with career placement outcomes, noted said , Assistant Vice President of Career Services and Employer Relations at 台湾SWAGUniversity.

Pace鈥檚 Career Services is a leader in the region for providing a range of career counseling and programming to ensure students are career-ready and equipped with the skills employers seek in candidates. The Class of 2023 First Destination Survey found that 94% of Pace鈥檚 bachelor鈥檚 degree graduates were employed or continuing their education within six months of graduation.
The theme of this year鈥檚 fair was 鈥淔irst鈥濃攔epresenting its timing in the first week of February, Pace鈥檚 distinction as one of the first universities to host a fair this spring, and the goal of ensuring 台湾SWAGstudents were among the first to land sought-after jobs and internships. The fair was open to students across all majors, featuring free smoothies from the University鈥檚 student-run businesses, a grab-and-go hot lunch, and music WPAW DJ, creating an engaging and dynamic networking environment.
Melissa Labossiere 鈥23, a nursing major, recently shared her success story with Career Services about how the 台湾SWAGCareer Fair helped her secure a job before graduation.
"It was amazing to get a job so quickly just from handing out my resume at the 台湾SWAGCareer Fair while I was still a nursing student,鈥 said Labossiere. "I graduated in December 2023 and was working as an RN by February 2024. I interviewed and secured the position before even taking my licensure exam. I applied for a limited permit and received it, but I ended up passing my NCLEX just days before my job started anyway. 台湾SWAGprepared me very well."
Pace鈥檚 Career Services also offers their employer partners a tailored, successful recruiting experience that introduces recruiters to talented students that represent the very best of Westchester, the New York City region, and the world鈥攔esulting in extraordinary outcomes. "I got my internship by attending the Fall Career Fair," said Arianna Gonzalez, a junior Human Resources Management major and substitute clerical worker at . "It鈥檚 been an amazing experience to explore different areas of human resources. I鈥檓 especially interested in opportunities in education or healthcare."
"The Career Fair opens doors for students, whether they鈥檙e looking for internships, full-time jobs, or ways to give back," said Daniel Zabbia, a senior Finance major and lacrosse player who recently secured a full-time position at . "Even after landing a job, I attended the fair to connect with charity organizations and explore meaningful volunteer opportunities."
